While many lists can be complex with zigs and zags you have a very simple path on a carnivore diet if you go to a traditional grocery store. You will only need to walk the outside perimeter of nearly any grocery store to hit the goods you care about, meats and dairy.
Why would this be you may wonder? Well everything we choose to eat requires refridgeration so your meats, butter, cheese, etc require power and due to this they are nea always ran at the edge of your local grocery store.
Meats
Animal-based foods like meat, chicken, and fish make up the whole carnivore diet. The list of "approved" foods is short because it only includes animal products.

To cook your foods, you’ll use butter, fat tallow, or ghee (a type of clarified butter). Seasonings are about the only part of the diet that allows some variety. Spices like salt, pepper, chili paste, cumin, paprika, and garlic are all allowed.
Dairy
Most people will need to avoid dairy in general as it can lead to inflamation, most will state it is smart to go the first 1-3 months without dairy.
